尔时,尊者舍利弗亦在摩竭提国那罗T02n0099_p0126a09║聚落。

时,有外道出家名[4]阎浮车,是舍利T02n0099_p0126a10║弗旧善知识,来诣舍利弗,问讯、共相慰劳T02n0099_p0126a11║已,退坐一面。
一、问舍利弗言:「云何名善说法者?为世T02n0099_p0126a23║间正向。云何名为[7]世间善逝?」

舍利弗言:「若T02n0099_p0126a24║说法调伏欲贪,调伏瞋恚,调伏愚痴,是名T02n0099_p0126a25║世间说法者。若向调伏欲贪,向调伏瞋恚,T02n0099_p0126a26║向调伏愚痴,是名[8]正向。若贪欲已尽,无余T02n0099_p0126a27║断知,瞋恚、愚痴已尽,无余断知,是名善[9]断。」
二、阎浮车问舍利弗:「谓涅盘者,云何为涅盘?」
[0126b03] 舍利弗言:「涅盘者,贪欲永尽,瞋恚永尽,愚痴T02n0099_p0126b04║永尽,一切诸烦恼永尽,是名涅盘。」

复问:「舍T02n0099_p0126b05║利弗!有道有向,修习多修习,得涅盘耶?」
[0126b05]
舍T02n0099_p0126b06║利弗言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
三、阎浮车问舍利弗:「何故于沙门瞿昙所出T02n0099_p0126b09║家修梵行?」
[0126b09]
舍利弗言:「为断贪欲故,断瞋T02n0099_p0126b10║恚故,断愚痴故,于沙门瞿昙所出家修梵T02n0099_p0126b11║行。」
[0126b11]
复问:「舍利弗!有道有向,修习多修习,得T02n0099_p0126b12║断贪欲、瞋恚、愚痴耶?」
[0126b12]
舍利弗言:「有。谓八正T02n0099_p0126b13║道——正见乃至正定。」
四、阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓阿罗汉者,云何名T02n0099_p0126b22║阿罗汉?」
[0126b22]
舍利弗言:「贪欲已断无余,瞋恚、愚痴T02n0099_p0126b23║已断无余,是名阿罗汉。」
[0126b23]
复问:「舍利弗!有道T02n0099_p0126b24║有向,修习多修习,得阿罗汉耶?」
[0126b24]
舍利弗言:T02n0099_p0126b25║「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
五、[0126b27] 阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓阿罗汉者,云何名阿T02n0099_p0126b28║罗汉者?」

舍利弗言:「贪欲永尽无余,瞋恚、愚痴T02n0099_p0126b29║永尽无余,是名阿罗汉者。」
[0126b29]
复问:「有道有向,T02n0099_p0126c01║修习多修习,得阿罗汉者耶?」
[0126c01]
舍利弗言:「有。T02n0099_p0126c02║谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
六、阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓无明者,云何为无T02n0099_p0126c05║[16]明?」
[0126c05]
舍利弗言:「所谓无明者,于前际无知,T02n0099_p0126c06║后际无知,前、后、中际无知;佛、法、僧宝无知,苦、T02n0099_p0126c07║集、灭、道无知;善、不善、无记无知,内无知、外无T02n0099_p0126c08║知,若于彼彼事无知闇障,是名无明。」

阎浮T02n0099_p0126c09║车语舍利弗:「此是大闇积聚。」复问:「舍利弗!T02n0099_p0126c10║有道有向,修习多修习,断无明耶?」

舍利弗T02n0099_p0126c11║言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
七、阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓有身,云何有身?」

舍T02n0099_p0126c21║利弗言:「有身者,五受阴。云何五受阴?谓色受T02n0099_p0126c22║阴,受、想、行、识受阴。」
[0126c22]
复问:「舍利弗!有道有向,T02n0099_p0126c23║断此有身耶?」
[0126c23]
舍利弗言:「有。谓八正道——正见T02n0099_p0126c24║乃至正定。」
八、阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓苦者。云何为苦?」

舍T02n0099_p0126c27║利弗言:「苦者,谓生苦、老苦、病苦、死苦、恩爱别T02n0099_p0126c28║离苦、怨憎会苦、所求不得苦。略说五受阴苦,T02n0099_p0126c29║是名为苦。」

复问:「舍利弗!有道有向,断此T02n0099_p0127a01║苦耶?」
[0127a01]
舍利弗言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正T02n0099_p0127a02║定。」
九、阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓取者,云何为取?」

舍T02n0099_p0127a11║利弗言:「取者,四取,谓[5]欲取、我取、见取、戒取。」
[0127a12] 复问:「舍利弗!有道有向,修习多修习,断此T02n0099_p0127a13║取耶?」
[0127a13]
舍利弗言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正T02n0099_p0127a14║定。」
十、[0127a15] 阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓缚者。云何为缚?」
[0127a15]
舍T02n0099_p0127a16║利弗言:「缚者,四缚,谓贪欲缚、瞋恚缚、戒取缚、T02n0099_p0127a17║我见缚。」
[0127a17]
复问:「舍利弗!有道有向,修习多修T02n0099_p0127a18║习,断此缚耶?」
[0127a18]
舍利弗言:「有。谓八正道。正见,T02n0099_p0127a19║乃至正定。」
十一、[0127a21] 阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓结者。云何为结?」
[0127a21]
舍T02n0099_p0127a22║利弗言:「结者,九结,谓爱结、恚结、慢结、无明结、T02n0099_p0127a23║见结、他取结、疑结、嫉结、悭结。」

复问:「舍利弗!有T02n0099_p0127a24║道有向,修习多修习,断此结耶?」
[0127a24]
舍利弗言:T02n0099_p0127a25║「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
十二、[0127a27] 阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓使者。云何为使?」
[0127a27]
舍T02n0099_p0127a28║利弗言:「使者,七使,谓[6]贪欲使、瞋恚使、有爱使、T02n0099_p0127a29║慢使、无明使、见使、疑使。」
[0127a29]
复问:「舍利弗!有道T02n0099_p0127b01║有向,修习多修习,断此使耶?」
[0127b01]
舍利弗言:「有。T02n0099_p0127b02║谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
十三、[0127b04] 阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓欲者。云何为欲?」
[0127b04]
舍T02n0099_p0127b05║利弗言:「欲者,谓眼所识色可爱、乐、念,染着色。T02n0099_p0127b06║耳声、鼻香、舌味、身所识触可爱、乐、念,染着触。T02n0099_p0127b07║阎浮车!此功德非欲,但觉想思惟者。」是时,舍T02n0099_p0127b08║利弗即说偈言:T02n0099_p0127b09║
非彼爱欲使,世间种种色,T02n0099_p0127b10║
唯有觉想者,是则士夫欲。T02n0099_p0127b11║
彼诸种种色,常在于世间,T02n0099_p0127b12║
调伏爱欲心,是则黠慧者。
[0127b13] 复问:「舍利弗!有道有向,修习多修习,断此T02n0099_p0127b14║欲耶?」
[0127b14]
舍利弗答言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正T02n0099_p0127b15║定。」
十四、[0127b16] 阎浮车问舍利弗言:「所谓[7]养者,云何为T02n0099_p0127b17║养?」
[0127b17]
舍利弗言:「养者有五养,谓贪欲养、T02n0099_p0127b18║瞋恚养、睡眠养、掉悔养、疑养。」
[0127b18]
复问:「舍利T02n0099_p0127b19║弗!有道有向,修习多修习,断此五养耶?」
[0127b20] 舍利弗答言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
十五、[0127b22] 阎浮车问舍利弗:「谓稣息者。云何为稣息?」
[0127b23] 舍利弗言:「稣息者,谓断三结。」
[0127b23]
复问:「舍利弗!T02n0099_p0127b24║有道有向,修习多修习,断三结耶?」
[0127b24]
舍利弗T02n0099_p0127b25║答言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
十六、阎浮车问舍利弗:「谓[9]得稣息者。云何为T02n0099_p0127b28║得稣息者?」
[0127b28]
舍利弗言:「得稣息者,谓三结已T02n0099_p0127b29║尽、已知。」
[0127b29]
复问:「有道有向,断此结耶?」
[0127b29]
舍利T02n0099_p0127c01║弗答言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
十七、阎浮车问舍利弗:「谓得上稣息。云何为得T02n0099_p0127c04║上稣息?」
[0127c04]
舍利弗言:「得上稣息者,谓贪欲永T02n0099_p0127c05║尽,瞋恚、愚痴永尽,是名得上稣息。」
[0127c05]
复问:「舍T02n0099_p0127c06║利弗!有道有向,修习多修习,得上稣息耶?」
[0127c07] 舍利弗答言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
十八、[0127c09] 阎浮车问舍利弗:「谓得上稣息处。云何为T02n0099_p0127c10║得上稣息处?」
[0127c10]
舍利弗言:「得上稣息处者,谓T02n0099_p0127c11║贪欲已断、已知,永尽无余,瞋恚、愚痴已断、已T02n0099_p0127c12║知,永尽无余,是为得上稣息处。」

复问:「舍利T02n0099_p0127c13║弗!有道有向,修习多修习,得上稣息处耶?」
[0127c14] 舍利弗答言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
十九、[0127c27] 阎浮车问舍利弗:「所谓上清凉者。云何为上T02n0099_p0127c28║清凉?」
[0127c28]
舍利弗言:「上清凉者,谓贪欲永尽无余,T02n0099_p0127c29║瞋恚、愚痴永尽无余,一切烦恼永尽无余,是T02n0099_p0128a01║名上清凉。」

复问:「有道有向,得此上清凉T02n0099_p0128a02║耶?」
[0128a02]
舍利弗言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
二十、[0128a16] 阎浮车问舍利弗:「谓业迹。云何为业迹?」
[0128a16]
舍T02n0099_p0128a17║利弗言:「业迹者,十不善业迹,谓杀生、偷盗、邪T02n0099_p0128a18║淫、妄语、两舌、恶口、绮语、贪欲、瞋恚、邪见。」

复问:T02n0099_p0128a19║「舍利弗!有道有向,断此十业迹耶?」
[0128a19]
舍利弗T02n0099_p0128a20║言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
二十一、[0128a22] 阎浮车问舍利弗,「所谓秽者。云何为秽?」
[0128a22]
舍T02n0099_p0128a23║利弗言:「秽者,谓三秽,贪欲秽、瞋恚秽、愚痴秽。」
[0128a24] 复问:「舍利弗!有道有向,断此三秽耶?」
[0128a24]
舍利T02n0099_p0128a25║弗言:「有。谓八正道——正见乃至正定。」
